About this exhibition

This small exhibition of the work of Glenn Adams (1928-2011) is drawn from the Owens collection. The exhibition is accompanied by a video interview with Glenn taped in 2006 on the occasion of his major retrospective at the Owens.

Glenn Adams was a professional engineer, graduating from McGill University with a B.Sc and a PhD, and a visual artist, studying with Alex Colville and Lawren P. Harris at Mount Allison University in the 1960s. He was an important contributor to the arts community in Sackville and an active member of the Sackville Art Association, the Owens Art Gallery, and Struts Gallery & Faucet Media Art Centre. In June he was inducted into the Sackville Arts Wall of Fame. Glenn Adams passed away this summer at the age of 83.
