These posters coincided with the exhibition To Look About at Actuality, curated by Kate Brayley, held at the Owens Art Gallery from 16 March to 29 April 2007. The exhibition included the work of Miller Gore Brittain, Elizabeth Lovitt Cann, Mabel Killam Day and Jack Weldon Humphrey.
With a focus on artists from the Maritimes, this exhibition examines the shift in subject matter that occurred in Canadian art in the 1930s, a moving away from the landscape towards the people and the cities of Canada. Produced with the support of the Marjorie Young Bell Fine Arts and Music Fund, Mount Allison University.
