A poster featuring two images stacked one over the other. The first image is green and shows the body of a chihuahua seated on the floor. The second image is red and shows the face of the chihuahua, who looks straight out at the viewer. The title is layered on top of the images. The bottom half of the poster is green with white text.

This poster coincided with the 10th annual Symposium of Art, held 3 to 8 October 2005.

The Symposium of Art was held annually in Sackville, NB from 1996 to 2011. The symposium was intentionally non-thematic—signaled by the use of lyrics from Anne Murray’s hit ballad You Needed Me to provide the title of each year’s event, which allowed for the greatest diversity of interdisciplinary investigation and inquiry.

Co-organised by the Owens Art Gallery and Struts Gallery & Faucet Media Arts Centre, with the participation of CHMA Radio and the Fine Arts Department, Mount Allison University.

Produced with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts through its InterArts and Visual Arts Sections and the New Brunswick Arts Board.
