This publication coincides with the exhibition Selections from the Pre-Raphaelites held at the Owens Art Gallery from 14 December 1975 to 4 January 1976.

The exhibition displays and honors the work of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, formed by artists Holman Hunt, Dante Gabriel Rossetti and John Everett Millais in 1848.

This publication includes an introduction by Alan McNairn and a list of works featured in the exhibition.
