Two hands hold up an exhibition publication. Centred on the cover is a black and white photo of stairs leading to wooden logs stacked into a large pile between two pillars.

This publication coincides with the exhibition Off-site held at the Owens Art Gallery from 17 March to 23 April 2000.

Artists Tonia Ri Risio, Peggy Frith, Susan Goodyear, Paul Griffin, Glynis Humphrey, Carl Zimmerman, and Robert Zingone were asked to research sites related to their artistic concerns. The exhibition attempts to situate contemporary art work within the local space, to create dialogue between the immediate environment and the artwork.
