Two hands hold a publication. The cover is cream with a drawing of four women, a nun outdoors, swatching at flies while a man sits painting in a prochade box. Below, text reads "No Place, Nowhere Sans lieu, nulle part"

This publication coincides with the exhibition No Place, Nowhere, curated by Jack Symonds, held at the Owens Art Gallery 25 March to 26 June 2022.

How one person sees a place is determined by their experience, but in a rural place, there are those who are satisfied with their place nowhere and those who have no place anywhere. The works included here present depictions of the everyday that invite us to contemplate these realities, which helps create deeper connections to art and ideas of place.

This publication includes a foreword by Emily Falvey and an essay by Jack Symonds.
