This publication accompanies the permanently installed artwork The Five Word Phrase Calendar (Executive Hinged Door Case version), 2001, by Micah Lexier in the lobby of the Owens Art Gallery. The work offers visitors a new approach to understanding the date as a five-word phrase rather than a number.
