This publication coincides with the exhibition Meeting Places, curated by Gemey Kelly, held at the Owens Art Gallery from 21 September to 3 November 2013.

The exhibition brings together artists whose work offers definitions of place and inquires into the way place-based communities form, are transformed, migrate, become dispossessed, and occupy territory.
