Curator of Education & Community Outreach
When Lucy joined the Owens in 2005 as Curator of Education and Community Outreach, it was actually a return and marked five years since she had completed the gallery’s year-long internship program.
She grew up in Igloolik, Nunavut, where in grade six, she and her dance club friends choreographed a piece to Chris de Burgh’s Lady in Red for the school Christmas concert.
Lucy has a Master of Design from the Edinburgh College of Art and an MA in Museum Education from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
