This publication coincides with the exhibition Look: Twenty Years of the Friends of the Owens held at the Owens Art Gallery from 11 September to 11 October 2009.

On the 20th anniversary of the Friends of the Owens, this exhibition recognizes the extraordinary contribution made by the Friends of the Owens Art Gallery in raising funds towards the acquisition of contemporary Canadian art.
