Two hands hold up a softcover book. An installation of a construction site fills the centre of the cover, with a white border on the top and bottom.

This publication coincides with the exhibition Leah Garnett: When One Space Meets Another held at the Owens Art Gallery, curated by Pan Wendt, held at the Owens Art Gallery 15 September – 25 October 2017. A new installation by Sackville artist Leah Garnett, this work draws upon her childhood experiences growing up around construction sites and the woods of rural Maine.

The publication includes a foreword by Gemey Kelly, a curator’s note by Pan Wendt and essay by Rebecca Duclos.

Two hands hold open a book. An image of sculptures made of wooden scraps spreads across both pages. They arch across a metal worktable like fanning pages of a book.
