This poster coincided with the exhibition/symposium Investigations held at the Owens Art Gallery from 7 to 14 January 1974.

This exhibition/symposium involved 4 artists: John Greer, Ian Carr-Harris, and Iain and Ingrid Baxter. Each artist was granted a gallery space, in which the works developed over the course of the project were exhibited in the show or created specifically for the publication.
