This poster coincides with Into the Night: The Night in Music, Art and Poetry and an exhibition of the same name, held at the Owens Art Gallery 9 January to 10 February 2008. In the exhibition various artists explore the nighttime street life, sinister figures, amorous encounters and the contemplative transitional moments between day and night.

The series of multidisciplinary events explored the night in many forms including; an evening of bedtime songs and stories, A Symposium on the Night in Art, Science and Literature presented by Dr. Robert Lapp and the students of the Night in Literature class, keynotes with Dr. Anne Koval, Dr. Robert Hawkes and Dr. Robert Lapp, and Collegium Musicum.
