This publication coincides with the exhibition george bures miller held at the Owens Art Gallery from 21 November to 22 December 1999.

This exhibition explores the work of George Bures Miller, who operates at the interstices of sculpture, video, installation, performance art and scientific experimentation. Each new work is presented as a test of some kind involving motion, gravity, light, darkness or shadows.
