Two hands hold up a softcover book. On the cover is a painting of a pathway through a landscape. Trees line both sides of the path, and a person walks in the distance.

This publication coincides with the exhibition Framing Nature held at the Owens Art Gallery from 14 November to 21 December 2003. Curated by Anne Koval.

This exhibition presents late 18th and 19th century watercolours from the Owens Art Gallery’s Permanent Collection. It is important for a number of reasons: it makes an important body of work from our historical European Collection accessible to our community, it continues on and greatly extends our research on this aspect of the Collection, and it allows us to further our mission to provide support for teaching and learning at Mount Allison University.

Foreword by Gemey Kelly
