This publication coincides with the exhibition Frame Included held at the Owens Art Gallery from 22 March to 25 August 2002.

What is presented here is a selection of artworks that varies widely in style and in content. What these works share, however, is a relation to the history of framing and a common awareness of the edge—the frame or the lack thereof.
