Two hands hold up a softcover book. Three shapes are cut out of the centre of the brown cover. Through the cut-outs, a pattern of green, beige, and red with black spots is revealed.

This publication coincides with the exhibition Erik Edson: Other Stories, curated by Pan Wendt, held at the Owens Art Gallery from 20 October – 10 December 2017.

This exhibition presents Sackville-based Erik Edson’s latest large-scale installation ruins (2017), alongside a selection of work that spans almost two decades of the artist’s career.

The publication includes a foreword by Gemey Kelly, curators notes by Pan Wendt, an essay by Emily Falvey and an afterword by Kevin Rice.

Design by Robert Tombs

Two hands hold open a book to reveal images of an exhibition. The walls are bright yellow, and a large printed landscape is cut out and pasted onto the wall. A small set of white stairs faces the wall.
