This publication coincides with the exhibition Dynamics of Form: Narrative in the Artist’s Book held at the Owens Art Gallery from 16 March to 20 May 2001 and curated by Lucy MacDonald.

The exhibitions considers the work of fourteen artists in Canada and internationally who use the book form as their medium.
