This publication coincides with the exhibition Barbara Caruso: Paintings held at the Owens Art Gallery from 13 February to 1 March 1975.

The exhibition features Colour Lock, Second Series, a body of 18 works which explore Caruso’s relationship to colour and colour interaction.
