Two hands hold up a softcover book. The cover is a rust coloured image of circular, reflective balloons. The word "BAIT" is written in big blue letters in English and Inuktitut.

Inuk sculptor Couzyn van Heuvelen’s work reinterprets and reimagines Inuit hunting and fishing implements, and draws upon his relationship to Inuit tradition and land-based material culture and technology.

This publication includes a foreword by Jon Lockyer, Director and Curator of Artspace. It also features writings by Camille Georgeson-Usher, Bryan Winters, and curator Ryan Rice, who explores van Heuvelen’s practice in relation to the legacy of Inuit cultural and hunting practices.
