This publication coincides with the exhibition Art at Mount Allison—…a history organized by the Sackville Art Association and Mount Allison University held 8 May to 165 July 1977 at the Owens Art Gallery.

This publication includes a foreword by Pauline Spatz, Sackville Art Association President, an introduction and essay by Virgil Hammock, Professor of Fine Arts and Head of the Department, and a timeline of faculty of the Fine Arts, 1973 to 1977.
