This poster coincided with the exhibition Alex Colville: Selected Drawings organized by the Owens Art Gallery.

An exhibition of 61 drawings by Alex Colville, covering a period of almost fifty years from the early sketches for Nude and Dummy and To Prince Edward Island to preparatory studies for the painting Traveller executed in 1992. The exhibition was organized by the Owens Art Gallery with funding from the Canada Council, the Canada/New Brunswick Cooperation Agreement on Cultural Development, the Friends of the Owens Art Gallery, the Marjorie Young Bell Fine Arts Fund of Mount Allison University and Hawk Communications Inc. Following its showing at the Owens from 29 March to 16 May 1991, Alex Colville: Selected Drawings travelled nationally throughout 1993-1995.
