Owens Art Gallery and guest curator Eryn Foster are serving up an art symposium, you are what you eat, you are, in conjunction with the Sackville Fall Fair. you are what you eat, you are will celebrate food, art, and community through a series of food-related art projects, presentations, workshops, community events, and meals at various locations in Sackville, New Brunswick.
Projects featured included a preserves-canning workshop of locally sourced produce with Tonia Di Risio, a dining experience where Basil AlZeri was guided by his mother via Skype to prepare a Palestinian fish dish, a corn maze at the Doncaster Farm designed by Ryan Suter, animation by Lisa Myers, and a grain puffing workshop with Micah Donovan.
