Freestyle Stitching
With an embroidery hoop, burlap, and a large blunt needle, stitch your own artwork. We’ll have baskets of colourful yarn, beads and felt pieces to inspire you.
Extend your visit to the Owens with our Little Library, a small portable library featuring an expanding collection of art books for young readers. The books in the Little Library support and spark conversations about art and creativity. You might also want to try out one of our in-gallery Art Kits designed to connect kids ages 2-12 twelve to our current exhibitions.
The Mount Allison University campus and the Owens Art Gallery continue to have COVID-19 protocols in place for the safety and wellbeing of our staff and visitors. Masks are mandatory in the Owens for all visitors two years and older.
