
Lunch n’ Learn: A Comprehensive Analysis of New Brunswick’s Arts and Culture Workforce
ArtsLink NB, in partnership with Association acadienne des artistes professionnel.le.s du Nouveau-Brunswick (AAAPNB) and the Owens Art Gallery, will release a substantial research report into New Brunswick’s arts and culture sector on Wednesday, April 30th.
Kelly Hill of Hill Strategies Research authored the report, entitled “Evolving the Creative Landscape: A Comprehensive Analysis of New Brunswick’s Arts and Culture Workforce.”
Kelly will be on hand on Wednesday, April 30 from 12pm – 1pm to give a bilingual presentation over Zoom of his findings. Afterward, there will be time for questions and answers.
Also available will be Julie Whitenect, Executive Director of ArtsLink NB; Anne-Cécile Grunenwald, Head of Global Strategy for the AAAPNB; and Emily Falvey, Curator and Director of the Owens Art Gallery.
The report consists of three main sections:
1.A survey on working conditions and affordability concerns for New Brunswick’s artists and cultural workers
2.Measurement of and statistics on the economic impact of the arts, culture, and heritage in New Brunswick
3.A statistical portrait of New Brunswick’s arts, culture, and heritage workforce
The full report will be released on ArtsLink NB’s website at 11am on April 30th, an hour before the presentation.
