Dawn MacNutt stands on the peak of a sand dune with six human-like sculptures woven from copper wire and seagrass. An abstract geometric design is composed of vertical stripes in varying shades of blue, orange, and purple. The dominant colours transition from a dark blue outer border to lighter blue and orange tones towards the center. Painted with loose brushstrokes and vibrant colours, various anthropomorphic figures gather in a desert-like landscape with a rich blue sky and distant mountains. Several of the figures in the scene have human bodies with animal heads, except for one figure to the right, a human with a masked face who wears a yellow unitard and tights. Various small black animals are scattered among the larger figures, including a cat, a bird, and a dog-like figure. A silhouetted black bird flys overhead. The painting is bordered by a light blue frame with scattered colourful brushstrokes. A triptych consists of three separate panels placed side by side, each depicting close-up images of foliage. The left panel features a plant with long, slender leaves in a yellow tone. The center panel showcases dense dandelion leaves in grey tones. The right panel shows larger leaves in a dark sepia tone. Each section is vertically aligned and separated by thin black borders.
